Adoption Information:



Love At First Sight kittens/puppies are released only after having at least one set of vaccinations, deworming, a flea/ear mite preventative applied, and spay/neuter performed. They also undergo a physical exam by a veterinarian that supports Love At First Sight. Kittens are tested for Feline Leukemia.  Our clinic performs complimentary physicals when pets are adopted to insure that the pet is healthy before going home.  Our pets come with a health guarantee for the first week after adoption.

The adoption process involves about 15 minutes of paperwork/interview.  It must be done in person at the time of the adoption and basic requirements to adopt are: 
*you are at least 18 years of age
*you have a valid driver's license (must be a driver's license with current information - no state IDs)
*you must have a stable source of income
*any pets you have (or have had in the past 5 years) must be up to date on vaccinations

**these are basic requirements....your adoption is at the discretion of LAFS staff and management)**

If you qualify for the chance to adopt one of our pets, there is a non-refundable adoption fee of $169 for kittens and $223 for puppies. This covers any services that your pet has already received. Any money we receive is used to keep the program running.

Once your adoption agreement is signed and your adoption fee is paid, you may take your pet home with you that day!
